A digital marketing team is seeking a talented and data-savvy SEO Specialist to support the delivery of high-impact SEO strategies.

Job Summary

The SEO Specialist will be responsible for planning and implementing effective search engine optimisation strategies.
This includes keyword research, on-page and technical optimisation, content planning, link building, and reporting.
The ideal candidate will work closely with content, design, and development teams to ensure SEO best practices are followed throughout all digital projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Keyword Research & Strategy – Conduct detailed keyword research and develop tailored SEO strategies aligned with campaign goals.
  • On-Page Optimisation – Optimise website elements such as metadata, headings, internal linking, and content to improve search rankings and user experience.
  • Technical SEO – Perform regular audits and resolve issues related to crawlability, mobile performance, site speed, indexing, and structured data.
  • Content Strategy – Work with content creators to plan and produce SEO-optimised content that meets user needs and search intent.
  • Link Building – Develop and execute ethical link-building initiatives to increase domain authority and improve rankings.
  • Analytics & Reporting – Track and report on SEO performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and others.
  • Competitor Research – Analyse competitor activity to identify new opportunities and inform strategy.
  • Team Collaboration – Liaise with developers, designers, and content teams to implement SEO changes and support cross-channel efforts.
  • Trend Monitoring – Stay up to date with SEO best practices, algorithm changes, and industry developments.

Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency or freelance capacity.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic website architecture.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g. WordPress) is an advantage.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to keep learning.
